  If your D-Link Adapter DWA-182 cannot connect to the internet, verify the following: * Confirm that the LED indicators for the broadband modem show normal activity. If not, there might be an issue with your broadband connection. * Ensure that the LED indicators on the wireless router are working correctly. If not, check that the AC power and Ethernet cables are securely connected. * Verify that the IP Address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS settings are correctly entered for the network. * In Infrastructure mode, ensure that the same Service Set Identifier (SSID) is specified in the settings for both the wireless clients and access points. The default SSID factory setting for D-Link products is blank.

When connecting to an access point, select AP (Infrastructure). Also, double-click the WLAN icon in the taskbar, then click Configuration to change the settings for the wireless adapter. Verify that the selected key matches the key used by other devices on the network.
