Why won't any of the burners light on my Dacor DOP48M96DL?

If none of the burners are lighting, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the cooktop is properly plugged into a live, grounded outlet. Next, check your fuse box or circuit breaker to see if a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has tripped; replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. Finally, verify that the gas supply is properly connected and turned on, consulting your cooktop’s Installation Instructions for guidance.

If the surface burners aren't lighting, make sure the control knob is correctly set by pushing it in and turning it to the Lite position. Also, ensure the burner caps are in place and the burner base is properly aligned. Clean the electrodes, put the burner cap on the burner head, and align the burner base.

Why is my Dacor DOP48M96DL surface burner clicking during operation?
M
Mary WilsonAug 18, 2025
If a surface burner clicks during operation, it might be because the control knob has been left in the Lite position. After the burner ignites, turn the control knob to the desired setting. If the burner continues to click, it is recommended to contact a service technician.

Why are the flames on my Dacor DOP48M96DL Oven surface burner very large or yellow?

Very large or yellow surface burner flames indicates that the wrong burner orifice might be installed. Check the burner orifice size, and contact your installer if you have the wrong orifice (LP gas instead of natural gas or vice versa).
