Combination: Underfloor heating + Heatpump convectors
Space heating is provided by:
- The underfloor heating
- The heatpump convectors
Space cooling is provided by the heat pump convectors only. The underfloor
heating is shut off by the shut-off valve.

For more information about connecting the electrical wiring to the unit, see
"9.2Connections to the outdoor unit"[491].
The heatpump convectors are directly connected to the outdoor unit or to the
external backup heater kit, if there is one.
A shut-off valve (field supply) is installed before the underfloor heating to
prevent condensation on the floor during cooling operation.
The desired room temperature is set via the controller of the heat pump
convectors. There are different controllers and setups possible for the heat pump
convectors. For more information, see:

The space heating/cooling demand signal is sent to one digital input on the
outdoor unit (X2M/35 and X2M/30).
The space operation mode is sent by one digital output (X2M/4 and X2M/3) on
the outdoor unit to:
- The heatpump convectors
- The shut-off valve
