OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET Operation
OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation lowers the noise level of the outdoor unit by
changing the frequency and fan speed of the outdoor unit. This function is
convenient during the night-time operation.
To start operation
Press .
• “ ” is displayed on the LCD.
To cancel operation
Press again.
• “ ” disappears from the LCD.
NOTE
Notes on OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation
• Even if the operation is stopped by using the remote controller or the indoor unit ON/OFF switch when using OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET
operation, “ ” will remain displayed on the remote controller.
• OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation will not reduce the frequency nor fan speed if they already are operating at reduced levels.
• This operation is performed with lower power and therefore may not provide a suf cient cooling (heating) effect.
