 Drain pan
•Cleanthedrainpanperiodically,orthedrainpipingmaybecomecloggedwithdustandmayresultinwaterleakage.
Askyourdealertocleanthem.
•Prepare a cover locally to prevent any dust in the air around the indoor unit from getting in the drain pan, if there is a great
deal of dust present.

Checkthatthebase,standandotherttingsoftheoutdoorunitarenotdecayedorcorroded.
Checkthatnothingblockstheairinletsandtheoutletsoftheindoorunitandtheoutdoorunit.
CheckthatthedraincomessmoothlyoutofthedrainhoseduringCOOLorDRYoperation.
•
Ifnodrainwaterisseen,watermaybeleakingfromtheindoorunit.Stopoperationandconsultyourdealerifthisisthecase.
 Prior to a long period of non-use
1. Operate the FAN mode for several hours on a ne day to dry
out the inside.
1) Pressthe“MODE”selectorbuttonandselect“FAN”operation.
•Whenamultioutdoorunitisconnected,makesuretheHEAToperationisnotbeingusedinotherroomsbeforeyou
usetheFANoperation.

2) Pressthe“ON/OFF”buttonandstartoperation.
2. After operation stops, turn off the circuit breaker for the room
air conditioner.
3. Clean the air lters and reattach them.

4. To prevent battery leakage, take out the batteries from the
remote controller. (Only for the wireless remote controller)
