Drain pan
•Cleanthedrainpanperiodically,orthedrainpipingmaybecomecloggedwithdustandmayresultinwaterleakage.
Askyourdealertocleanthem.
•Prepare a cover locally to prevent any dust in the air around the indoor unit from getting in the drain pan, if there is a great
deal of dust present.

Checkthatthebase,standandotherttingsoftheoutdoorunitarenotdecayedorcorroded.
Checkthatnothingblockstheairinletsandtheoutletsoftheindoorunitandtheoutdoorunit.
CheckthatthedraincomessmoothlyoutofthedrainhoseduringCOOLorDRYoperation.

Ifnodrainwaterisseen,watermaybeleakingfromtheindoorunit.Stopoperationandconsultyourdealerifthisisthecase.
Prior to a long period of non-use
1. Operate the FAN mode for several hours on a ne day to dry
out the inside.
1) Pressthe“MODE”selectorbuttonandselect“FAN”operation.
•Whenamultioutdoorunitisconnected,makesuretheHEAToperationisnotbeingusedinotherroomsbeforeyou
usetheFANoperation.

2) Pressthe“ON/OFF”buttonandstartoperation.
2. After operation stops, turn off the circuit breaker for the room
air conditioner.
3. Clean the air lters and reattach them.

4. To prevent battery leakage, take out the batteries from the
remote controller. (Only for the wireless remote controller)
