2. Troubleshooting with LED
2.1 Indoor Unit
Operation Lamp The operation lamp blinks when any of the following errors is detected.
1. When a protection device of the indoor or outdoor unit is activated, or when the thermistor
malfunctions.
2. When a signal transmission error occurs between the indoor and outdoor units.
In either case, conduct the diagnostic procedure described in the following pages.
Service Monitor The indoor unit has a green LED (LED A) on the control PCB. When the microcomputer works
in order, the LED A blinks. (Refer to page 12 for the location of LED A.)
2.2 Outdoor Unit
The outdoor unit has one green LED (LED A) on the PCB. When the microcomputer works in
order, the LED A blinks. (Refer to page 15, 17 for the location of LED A.)
