The following example sets up the conguration between
a Rockwell scanner and a VLT
®
Midi Drive FC 280, where
the I/O assembly 100/150 is used.

The scanner sends 2 words. The 1
st
word is the frequency
converters control word (CTW), and the 2
nd
word is the
main reference value (MRV). The frequency converter sends
2 words to the scanner. The 1
st
word is the status word
(STW), and the 2
nd
word is the main actual value (MAV)
(actual speed).
The frequency converter has the IP address 192.168.1.121,
and the data is updated cyclic every 20 ms in each
direction (RPI = 20 ms). To get the best network
performance, the data is sent unicast between the scanner
and the VLT
®
Midi Drive FC 280.
