Using dishwasher tabs:
Dishwasher tabs are designed to dissolve at different
speeds, thus cannot develop their full potential in a
short cycle.
Results:
y Rather poor washing performance
y A part of the tab remains at the bottom of the interior
at the end of the cycle.
y Plastic microspheres, which separate the different
chemicals present in a tab, lead to greater water
pollution and could also remain on dishes.
Using dishwasher powder:
A dose of powder must be added before each cycle.
Thus, you might sometimes forget it.
Results:
y Difficult to add the right quantity; very often more
than needed.
y If you forget to add it, your dishes will not be cleaned
properly.
Consequently, Daan Tech concluded that none
of the existing solutions appear truly satisfactory.
Therefore, to simplify Bob’s handling, Daan
Tech has developed the Bob cassette: the
world’s most efficient dispensing system
for dishwasher detergent. It replaces all the
conventional dishwasher products and makes
it possible to control the injection of various
detergents and rinsing products during the
cycle.
Conventional dishwashers have a regenerating salt tank for anti-calcifying the water,
which must continuously monitored and frequently refilled.
Bob does not require any dishwasher salt as everything is contained in the cassette!
The limescale is automatically removed with the “rock'n'roll” cassette solution.

If you do not use Bob cassette, you must add conventional dishwasher detergent
directly into Bob’s main body before starting a program.
Warning: Do not put detergent tabs, liquids, powder or anything else in the Bobcassette
tray.

of detergents
The concept
To ensure the best washing performance, it
is mandatory to use washing and rinsing
detergents.
Several products must be used:
y A dedicated product during the washing step to remove soil and clean the
dishes
y A dedicated product during the rinsing step to remove limescale on
glasses, for instance.
Please only use dishwater detergents. Using other detergents, such as
hand soap may damage the product and end the warranty. Please note
that dishwasher detergent are corrosive and dangerous. Keep them out
of reach of children.
During Bob’s development, Daan Tech benchmarked existing solutions:
Using all-in-one dishwasher detergent:
The rinsing product is absorbed after the washing
step, and thus rinsing occurs without rinsing
detergent.
Results:
y Limescale may appear (especially on glasses)
y Accumulation of limescale after several cycles
that damages the dishwasher.
y Disposable plastic bottle for single use.
