Note: This screen is only displayed when reheat is a HGRH mode.
HG Band: (Only displayed in HGRH modes.) This setting determines the
sensitivity of the HGRH algorithm. The smaller the band, the more the algorithm
will try to correct the error. If the band setting is too low, the system will oscillate
by being over-responsive. If the band setting is too high reheat may lack
responsiveness. Ideally, the band s et t ing s hou ld be as lo w a s possible
without causing oscillation. Range of adjustment is 1.0 to 99.0°F with a default of
20.0°F.
Int: Integration time is used to slowly shift the HGRH valve opening to correct the
error between temperature reading and set point. The higher Integral time setting,
the slower the valve will be changed. If the Integral time is set too low the valve
may change quickly, causing oscillation. If Integral time setting is too high, the
valve may become sluggish to change. A setting of 0s puts the algorithm in a
proportional only mode. Range of adjustment is 0 to 999s with a default of 50s.
Derivative Time: Causes a sudden change in HGRH valve opening to correct
the error as a result of a quick change in measured temperature. Typically, the
derivative setting is about a sixth of the Integral time setting. A setting of 0 puts the
algorithm in integral only mode, without derivative error correction. Range of
adjustment is 0 to 999s with a default of 1s.
Current Demand: Shown on this screen to assist tuning the above parameters.
