2.7.4 Recommended Line Sizing, Air Cooled Units

NOTE: 1. If equivalent piping length falls between two columns above,

choose the longer equivalent length.

2. Dual circuit units should use the same line size on both circuits.

3. If hot gas line refrigerant ow is upward, use “VERTICALUP”. If it is

downward, use “HOR.VERTICAL DOWN”.

4. If hot gas line refrigerant ow is upward use, “VERTICAL UP”, if it is down-

ward or horizontal, use “HORIZ. & VERTICAL DOWN”.
