2. Maneuver the aircraft to place the reticle over the target.
3. Wait until growling sound of the missile seeker changes to high-pitched tone and the LOCK
lamp is lit. Consider the distance, keeping in mind that the lock might be obtained at ranges
that don’t match the effective missile range parameter.
8. Depress Space and wait about two seconds for the missile launch.
