4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
In compliance with Directive 2006/42/CE Enclosure I, Point
1.7.4.
4.1 Product description
LOOK is an electro-mechanical operator for swing gate au-
tomation. It is composed primarily of a mechanical gear motor
that drives the lead screw fastened to the front attachment by
means of the adjustment screw (see F1 Page 38-39).

4.3 Labelling information
Part of the summarised data for the CE label are listed in the
label applied to the product (see Position F5, Page 40); the data
regarding the seller are found in the enclosed Warranty, while
“Indispensable Operating Safety Elements” are found under
Point “4.2 Technical data”.
4.4 Appropriate conditions of use
LOOK is designed for installation in residential swing gates
as shown in F3 on Page 39.
Verify that operating temperature range, door weight, duty
cycle and water and powder protection degree required are the
ones listed in the “AVAILABLE MODELS” table and “4.2 TECH-
NICAL DATA”
The automation required must be selected according to the
gate to be moved; the friction on the attachments, the weight,
the length/height of the leaf and the degree of opening are the
elements to be considered.
The chart “LENGTH-WEIGHT” links the length of the leaf and
its weight in typical situations and helps the selection of the cor-
rect automation according to the gate to be automated.
(WARNING installation in windy areas or with poor structure
gates may remarkably reduce the data shown in the graphic).
WARNING The use of the product under unusual condi-
tions not foreseen by the manufacturer can create situations
of danger, and for this reason all the conditions prescribed in
