Your bike requires regular maintenance and servicing adapted to your use. Periodic checks mu󰘵 be carried out by quali󰘰ed and experienced mechanics.
WARNING, like any mechanical component, a cycle is subject to high 󰘵ress and wear.
Di󰘯erent materials and components may react di󰘯erently to wear or fatigue. If the expected life of a component has been exceeded, it may break suddenly, risking injury to the cycli󰘵.
Cracks, scratches and discoloration in high 󰘵ress areas indicate that the component has exceeded its life and should be replaced.
To assess this, have your bike’s wear parts (including rims, brakes, tyres, 󰘵eering and transmission) checked, maintained and adju󰘵ed regularly by a quali󰘰ed and experienced mechanic.
When replacing components, original parts mu󰘵 be used in order to maintain the safety and reliability of the bicycle.
Always carry out your maintenance operations with adequate lighting.
Never disassemble the suspension fork. This operation mu󰘵 be carried out by a quali󰘰ed mechanic.
Your accessories such as mudguards, 󰘵ands, frame locks are subject to numerous vibrations during use. Remember to regularly check the 󰘰xing screws and retighten them if necessary according to the tighte-
ning recommendations mentioned in the COMPONENT TIGHTENING TORQUE section of this manual.
For more information on use, maintenance, after-sales service or in case of que󰘵ions, go to the DECATHLON support site or in a DECATHLON 󰘵ore.
