CONDENSER FLUID FLOW - units with water-cooled air conditioning only
Units with optional water-cooled air conditioning must have a constant flow of water that is at or below 90°F.
Where this cannot be achieved, contact Dectron. Contact Dectron before changing to any fluid other than water.
NOTE: Some sites may require cooling even during cool weather. Water flow must be available at all times.
Note the size of the unit from the unit nameplate.
Determine the type of cooling heat exchanger from the diagrams below.
NOTE: Do not confuse pool heat exchangers with
cooling heat exchangers.
Determine the water flow rate from the table shown here.
