U / V opening
Type of V or U opening
Radius
The radius of the edges of the V-opening.
V angle
The angle of the die.
V opening
The V-opening of the die.
V bottom
Herewith the different possible bottoms inside the V opening can be defined:
• 'Standard' is a sharp angle in the bottom of the die.
• 'Round' is a die bottom with a radius to be programmed with the parameter 'Inside
radius'.
• 'Flat' is a flat die bottom with a certain dimension to be set with the parameter
'Bottom width'.
Position
Position of the V or U opening in the Multi V die.
Resistance
Maximum allowable force on the tool, specifically for this V or U opening. In case this is
equal for all, no resistance should be filled out. The programmed value under Tool
Properties will do.
