The main drawing navigation is divided in a selection mode and a mode in which surfaces can
be added. In the Selection mode, to be selected tapping the arrow button within the drawing
screen, the bend lines and surfaces can be selected. Specific functions and properties can be
changed. In the Add Surface mode, to be selected tapping the button with the product symbol
and + sign, the product can be given extra surfaces on open sides.
Before adding a new surface the cursor must be put on a free side of an existing surface.
A new surface is added by tapping on the desired position next to the bend line cursor. The
new surface will be added and stretched to that point. Also entering the angle with the existing
surface and the height of the new surface can be used as an alternative way to program.
A new surface always has a rectangular shape. It can be changed afterwards as necessary.
While tapping to sketch the extension if the product, the angle of the surface with the current
surface is snapped to 45 degrees or a multiple of 45. When the cursor is on the end of the
product (a free line) also the cursor can be used to manipulate the side length and angle. This
is snapped to multiples of 5 degrees. Exact angles and side lengths can of course be given in
by typing.
3.6.2. 3D unfolded product
When the view '3D unfolded' has been chosen, the product is shown as a flat sheet, prior to
bending.
Tap View to return to select another view mode.
Selection mode, bendlines and sides can be selected and modified.
Add Surface mode, extra surfaces can be added on open sides.
