4. Activate 6.5.3.36 (Advanced) firmware on N3000E-ON switch.
5. Reload the switch.
6. Download the 6.5.3.36 firmware image (N3100Advv6.5.3.36.stk) to N3132PX-ON switch.
NOTE: Activate the image to use as the boot (active) image after the switch
resets. Images on the N3000E-ON switch is named as active and backup.
7. Activate 6.5.3.36 (Advanced) firmware on N3132PX-ON switch.
8. Reload the switch.
9. After switch reloaded, download and activate the mixed-stack firmware image
(N3000N3100Advv6.5.3.36.itb) on N3000E-ON and N3132PX-ON switches.
10. Reload the switches again.
11. Power OFF both N3000E-ON and N3132PX-ON switches. Plug-in mini-SAS stack cables and form the
stack between N3000E-ON and N3132PX-ON switches.
12. Power ON stack (N3000E-ON with N3132PX-ON).
13. Verify the stack of N3000E-ON and N3132PX-ON switches via show switch and show version command
output like below:
