Replacing the fan — for
computer with integrated
graphics card

Procedure
1 Align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
2 Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
3 Connect the fan cable to the system board.
4 Route the I/O-board cable and antenna cables through the routing guides on the
fan.
5 Connect the I/O-board cable to the system board.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the battery.
2 Replace the base cover.
