3 Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the status-light

board.

4 Peel the tape that secures the touch-pad bracket to the palm rest and keyboard

assembly.

5 Remove the three screws (M2x3) that secure the touch-pad bracket to the palm

rest and keyboard assembly.
