CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program’s settings to default. It is recommended that you note
the BIOS setup program’s settings before removing the coin-cell battery.

Prerequisites
1 Remove the computer cover.
2 Remove the front bezel.
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 6 in “Removing the optical drive”.
Procedure
1 Press on the edge of the coin-cell battery until the coin-cell battery pops up.
2 Lift the coin-cell battery out of its socket the battery socket on the system board.
