Prerequisites
1 Remove the computer cover.
2 Remove the front bezel.
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 6 in “Removing the optical drive”.
Procedure
1 Remove the screw (#6-32xL6.35) that secures the front-I/O bracket to the chassis.
2 Gently release the ports on the front-I/O bracket from the slots on the chassis and lift the front-I/O bracket o the chassis.
3 Disconnect the power-button cable from the system board.
4 Press the tabs on the power-button module to release the module from the front panel.
