8. Remove the touchpad.
9. Remove the power-adapter port.
10. Remove the display assembly.
11. Remove the I/O board.
12. Remove the system board.
NOTE: When removing and replacing the palm-rest and keyboard assembly, do not remove the heat sink from the
system board.
13. Remove the power button with fingerprint reader (optional).
Procedure
After performing the above steps, we are left with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
