Removing the speakers

Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
2 Note the position of the rubber grommets before lifting the speakers.
3 Lift the right speaker by releasing the rubber grommets from the slots on the palm-rest assembly.
4 Lift the status-light board from the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
5 Note the cable routing and remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
6 Lift the left speaker by releasing the rubber grommets from the slots on the palm-rest assembly.
