Place the palm rest on a clean and at surface.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the keyboard.
2 Replace the touchpad.
3 Replace the status-light board.
4 Replace the system board.
5 Replace the power-adapter port.
6 Replace the hard drive.
7 Replace the fan.
8 Replace the heat sink.
9 Replace the solid-state drive/Intel Optane.
10 Replace the I/O board.
11 Replace the display assembly.
12 Replace the memory modules.
13 Replace the wireless card.
14 Replace the coin-cell battery.
15 Replace the battery.
16 Replace the base cover.
