Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
2 Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the power-adapter port to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Lift the power-adapter port along with its cable o the palm-rest assembly.
