Removing the touchpad

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
Procedure
1 Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
2 Peel the tapes that secure the touchpad to the keyboard shield.
3 Remove the three screws (M2x2) that secure the touchpad bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
4 Peel o the tapes that secure the touchpad bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
5 Lift the touchpad bracket o the palm-rest assembly.
6 Remove the four screws (M2x2) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest assembly.
7 Lift the touchpad, along with the cable, o the palm-rest assembly.
