7. Disconnect the bracket from the hard drive.
8. Disconnect the hard-drive connector from the hard drive.

Installing the Hard Drive
1. Reconnect the hard-drive connector to the hard drive.
2. Attach the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
3. Tighten the hard-drive bracket screws to ensure that the bracket is correctly aligned and holding the hard drive.
4. Slide the hard drive into the bay towards the connector on the system board.
5. Tighten the screws to secure the hard drive.
6. Replace the back panel.
7. Replace the battery.
8. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
