Modem Card
Removing the Modem Card
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the back panel.
4. Remove the keyboard trim.
5. Remove the keyboard.
6. Remove the optical drive.
7. Remove the hard drive.
8. Remove the CPU door
9. Remove the palm rest.
10. Remove the display assembly.
11. Disconnect the modem cable from the modem.
12. Remove the screws that secure the modem card.
13. Lift the modem card, to disengage from the connector on the back of the card, and remove it from the computer.
