Display Hinges
Removing the Display Hinges
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the back panel.
4. Remove the keyboard trim.
5. Remove the keyboard.
6. Remove the optical drive.
7. Remove the CPU door.
8. Remove the palm rest.
9. Remove the display assembly.
10. Remove the display bezel.
11. Remove the display panel.
12. Remove the screws that secure the display hinges.
13. Remove the display-hinge caps.
14. Rotate the right-display hinge tower to a vertical position.
