15. Lift up the right edge of the palm rest assembly.
16. Release the tabs on the left edge of the palm rest assembly and remove the palm rest.

1. From the left edge of the palm rest, press the palm rest downwards on the computer on all the edges.
2. Press down on all edges to ensure that the tabs are engaged.
3. Connect all the cables to the palm rest.
4. Tighten the screws to secure the palm rest.
5. Flip the computer over and tighten the screws to secure the palm rest.
6. Replace the CPU door.
7. Replace the keyboard.
8. Replace the keyboard trim.
9. Replace the optical drive.
