Palm Rest
Removing the Palm Rest
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the back panel.
4. Remove the keyboard trim.
5. Remove the keyboard.
6. Remove the optical drive.
7. Remove the CPU door.
8. Remove the screws from the bottom of the computer.
9. Flip the computer and remove the screws on the palm rest.
10. Disconnect the media button cable.
