Removing the fan

Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
2. Peel the tape that secures the fan cable to the fan.
3. Remove the two screws (M2x2) that secure the fan to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Lift the fan off the palm-rest assembly.
