Steps
1. Loosen the seven captive screws in reverse sequential order (7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1) as indicated by the numbers on the
heat sink.
2. Lift the heat sink off the system board.

Prerequisites
CAUTION: Incorrect alignment of the heat sink can damage the system board and the processor.
NOTE: If either the system board or the heat sink is replaced, use the thermal pad or thermal paste provided in the kit to
ensure that there is thermal conductivity.
