Replace the drive panel (see "Replacing the Drive Panel" on page 105).

Replace the computer cover (see "Replacing the Computer Cover" on page 125).
NOTICE: To connect a network cable, first plug the cable into the network port or device and then plug it into the
computer.

Connect the computer and devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
Installing a CD/DVD Drive

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 75.

Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on page 76).

Remove the drive panel (see "Removing the Drive Panel" on page 104).

Remove the existing CD/DVD drive, if applicable (see "Removing a CD/DVD Drive" on page 114).

Prepare the CD/DVD drive for installation and check the documentation that accompanied the drive
to verify that the drive is configured for your computer.
NOTE: If you are installing an IDE drive, configure the drive for the cable select setting.
