Installing the chassis fan
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the chassis fan and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
1. Align the slots on the fan with the rubber grommets on the chassis.
NOTE:
The replacement fan may have tabs that are inserted into the grommets slots. This is to prevent the incorrect
installation of the fan.
