      Vanessa WoodJul 30, 2025
If your Denon Stereo Receiver's display is lit but no sound is coming out, there are several potential causes: * Check that the speaker cords are securely connected. * Ensure the INPUT SELECTOR knob is in the correct position. * Verify the volume isn't set to the minimum; turn it up. * Make sure MUTING is switched off. * If you've selected a digital input, confirm digital signals are being input, or select the correct input jacks.

Why is the display not working and the ON/STANDBY LED flashing rapidly on my Denon Stereo Receiver?
    • P
      Phillip HobbsAug 17, 2025
If the display of your Denon Stereo Receiver isn't showing anything and the “ON/STANDBY” LED is rapidly flashing, it could be due to: * Short-circuited speaker terminals. Turn off the power, properly connect the speakers, and then turn the power back on. * Blocked ventilation holes. Turn off the power, ensure proper ventilation to cool the unit down, and then turn it back on. * Continuous high power operation with inadequate ventilation. Turn off the power, ventilate the unit to cool it down, and then turn it back on.
