¢ Switching the display brightness
The brightness switches as shown below each
time the button is pressed (and released
within 1 second).
Some of the display remains lit if no disc is playing
or loaded.
This setting is memorized in the DCD-700AE.

¢ Switching the pure direct mode
The mode switches as shown below each time
the button is long-pressed (held in for more
than 1 second) in the stop mode.
MODE 1

“PURE DIRECT ON MODE 1” is displayed
for about 2 seconds, then turns off.
Digital output : Yes (valid)
“PURE DIRECT ON MODE 2” is displayed
for about 2 seconds, then turns off.
Digital output : No (invalid)
“PURE DIRECT OFF” is displayed for about
2 seconds.
The normal play mode is set.

For MP3/WMA files:
