Summary

Solid, Reliable AMP

Signal Level Divided Construction (SLDC)

Circuits handling low-level/high-level signals divided into blocks to minimize influence, resulting in cleaner output and greater fidelity.

High-Quality Power Amplifier Stage

Powerful high-speed transistors deliver hefty, stable power output reflecting DENON's advanced amplifier technology.

Two Sets of Video Inputs and Outputs

Provides video input/output terminals for connecting VCRs or TV monitors, including two sets for VCR and monitor.

Adjustable Loudness

Variable Loudness control allows selection of the most appropriate loudness setting at any volume.

Electronic Source Selection

Advanced electronic switches near input terminals reduce sound quality deterioration by eliminating long cables.

Last Function Memory

Receiver automatically memorizes settings upon power-off, preserving the condition for the next power-on.

3-Way Speaker Terminal

Terminals accommodate banana plugs, spade plugs, or bare wire wrapping for speaker connections.

A-B Speaker switching

Enables selection between two sets of connected speakers for playback.

Switchable AC outlets

Provides convenient AC outlets for powering other audio components.

Precision Tuning

Radio Data System (RDS)

FM broadcasting system providing services like station name (PS), program type (PTY), and traffic info (TP/TA).

Program Service Name (PS)

Displays the name of the station being received on an 8-character display.

Program Type (PTY)

Allows selection of music/program types (e.g., Rock, News) for automatic tuning.

Radio Text (RT)

Displays up to 64 characters of text transmitted by the station.

Traffic Program Identification (TP)

Automatically tunes to stations broadcasting traffic information.

Traffic Announcement Identification (TA)

Indicates if the station provides traffic information, enhancing awareness.

Clock Time (CT)

Displays current time and allows easy adjustments for daylight saving.

Tuner Features

40-Station Random Preset Memory

Stores up to 40 FM/AM stations in random order across five groups (A-E).

Auto Preset Memory (FM only)

Automatically stores up to 40 FM stations into memory when frequencies are unknown.

Character Input

Allows entering up to 8 characters for each preset station for easier identification.

Large FL Display

Fluorescent display clearly shows reception frequency and preset channel number.

FL Tuning Indicator

TUNED indicator lights up when a station is tuned; manual tuning is also precise.

Other Special Features

Integrated Remote Control

Operates DENON CD players/cassette decks with the same remote unit as the receiver.

Auto-Scan Tuning

Automatically scans for stations and tunes to the next available signal.

Quick Manual Tuning

Allows for rapid manual adjustment of tuning frequencies.

Step Manual Tuning

Enables precise manual tuning in small increments for accurate station selection.

Last-Channel-Tuned Memory

Remembers the last tuned channel for quick recall upon power-on.
