The desired voltage may be set with the VOLTAGE SELECTOR
KNOB on the rear panel, using a screwdriver.
Do not twist the VOLTAGE SELECTOR KNOB with excessive force as
this may cause damage.
if the VOLTAGE SELECTOR KNOB does not turn smoothly, please
contact a qualified serviceman.
FREQUENCY STEP (Frequency step switch)
Set the FREQUENCY STEP switch as described below.
in the U.S.A. and Canada — set the switch to 100 kHz / 10 kHz
side.
With this setting, the frequency varies in 100 kHz steps in the
range of 87.5 to 108.0 MHz (FM) and in 10 kHz steps in 520 to
1710 kHz (AM).
Elsewhere — set the switch to 50 kHz / 9 kHz side.
With this setting, the frequency varies in 50 kHz steps in the
range of 87.50 to 108.0 MHz (FM) and in 9 kHz steps in 522 to
1611 kHz (AM).
