3. Updating via USB
You can update the rmware by downloading the latest version with USB ash drive.
3.1. Connecting to the USB ash drive
(1) Preparation
• USB ash drive format : Prepare a USB ash drive formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.
• Do not run the USB ash drive through a hub.
• Do not connect a computer to the USB port of this unit using a USB cable.
• Do not use an extension cable when connecting the USB ash drive.
3.2. Downloading and updating rmware
1. Download the rmware for this unit from SDI.
2. Save the rmware le to your PC.
3. Copy the rmware to a USB ash drive.
4. Connect the USB ash drive to the USB port of this unit.
5. Updating starts automatically.
6. The LED of this unit blinks in amber during the rmware upgrade.

7. This unit restarts automatically when an upgrade is completed.
Here is an example of the LED indicator display.
The front LED blinks in Blue.
8. The connection setup has been completed and this unit is now ready to connect to the network.

9. Be sure to write the service region settings again.

--- Cautions on Firmware Update ---
• Do not remove the USB ash drive until updating is completed.
• Do not turn off the power until updating is completed.
Once an update is started, normal operations cannot be performed until it is completed.
