8 Operation
All parameters will remain in the Flash-ROM storage of the measuring instrument, when
the unit shuts-off (battery-pack empty) or when the unit goes into standby-mode. There-
fore, it is not necessary to re-input data every time the instrument is turned on. If changes
are necessary, please use the instructions as indicated in paragraph Input Parameter.
8.1 Peak Value – Measurement
A zero-point adjustment is enforced with each measurement.
This means: a positive and a negative zero-point deviation is determined over 100 values,
which is then deducted from the corresponding peak-value.
The highest measured positive- or negative value will be shown on the Display. This in-
strument is able to measure signals up to 10 kHz.
8.1.1 Automatic Signal-Recognition
Use the START-key to start a peak-value measurement.
After the measuring input has recognized a signal higher than the threshold, the meas-
urement continues until the input signal is 40% below the maximum measured value. The
highest measured torque value will be indicated on the display. This instrument is able to
measure signals up to 10 kHz
8.1.2 START/STOP Signal-Recognition
Press the START-key to start a peak-value-measurement.
The maximum torque value is being stored. The measurement will stop by pushing the
STOP-Key. The highest measured torque value will be indicated on the Display. This in-
strument is able to measure signals up to 10 kHz.
8.2 Measuring Series
A zero-point adjustment is enforced with each measurement.
This means: a positive and a negative zero-point deviation is determined over 100 values,
which is then deducted from the corresponding peak-value.
This instrument is able to measure signals up to 10 kHz. It is possible to have two operat-
ing methods by adjusting the signal-recognition of the start signal.
The measuring instrument does not start the next measurement automatically. Press the
START-key to start the next measurement. After each measuring-series, the measuring
values may be stored. To store the values, select a number with 8 digits (for example: the
serial number). A maximum of 40 measuring series with each 100 measuring values may
be stored.
A started measuring-series can be stopped with the arrow UP or arrow DOWN key.
