9 Testing of the built-in battery-pack/AKKU

EXPLOSIONS- and FIRE DANGER!
Make sure batteries are inserted correctly (watch + and - polarity) into bat-
tery-pack!
Use the charger unit for the built-in battery-pack/rechargeable batteries only;
NEVER with standard batteries!
Once the battery-pack looses charge, the measuring instrument ME5000 automatically
shuts-off, so that incorrect measuring results are avoided.
Battery-Pack-Charger (ACS 110 traveller)
Red LED „Power“: Continued light signals that the charger is operational. This light illu-
minates as soon as the charger is connected to main supply.
Red LED „Charge“: Continued light signals that the battery-pack has been inserted into
the charger.
Green LED „Ready“: Continued light signals that the battery-pack is charged. After
approx. 2 minutes, the LED changes into a blinking green light indicating that charge is
being kept constant. After contact of the battery-pack with the charger, the green LED
blinks for about 1 minute (test phase).
Yellow LED „Discharge“: Continued light signal comes on after pressing the yellow
unload-button. At the same time, the green LED „Ready“ blinks for about 1 min (test
phase).
Unload Button (5): Press and hold the unload-button for approx. 2 seconds. This will re-
lease the battery-pack.
