1 General Information
1.1 General Safety-Related Information
Carefully read the provided Operating Instructions and adhere to all Safety
Guidelines, prior to the use of this device.
All items which directly relate to the safety of the Operator and the error-free
operation of the electronic torquemeter, are marked in the Operating Instruc-
tions with the symbol shown left.
1.2 Intended Use
This electronic torquemeter has been designed and constructed for the sole purpose of
monitoring Piezo-Transducers-, Strain Gauge Transducers or external Rotary Type Trans-
ducers.
The use of this instrument in any other way is not acceptable. Furthermore DEPRAG is not
liable for damages, resulting from the misuse of the instrument; the user alone is liable.
The correct use of the instrument includes compliance with all Operating-, Maintenance-,
and Repair Instructions, which are considered an integral part.
The instrument can only be operated, maintained, and repaired by personnel familiar with
the device and who have been instructed about its dangers.
All relevant instructions in regards to accident-prevention, as well as general acknowl-
edged safety-rules and workers -protection regulations must be adhered to.
Arbitrary changes made to the device by the user will void the liability of the manufacturer
for resulting damages.
