5. Lock the wheelchair wheels.
6. When the weight reading is steady, record the patient’s weight.
7. Remove the patient by pulling the wheelchair off the weighing platform. Do Not push the
wheelchair off the weighing platform.
8. To return the weighing platform to the closed (stored) position, lift the platform up.
