Remote-Controlled Functions
Remote-Controlled
Functions
The OpenCom 100 enables remote-
controlled calls and remote-pro-
grammable call forwarding. These
features are set up by the adminis-
trator when he configures the sys-
tem. To carry out these features the
system PIN is required.
The system PIN is issued by the sys-
tem administrator, who must
change it from the factory setting
(“0000”) to another value for the
features to function.

Using a telephone number reserved
in the OpenCom 100 for this pur-
pose, you can call an external tele-
phone number from another exter-
nal telephone, and thus get the
benefit of different tariff zones, for
example. In addition, the number re-
served in the OpenCom 100 can also
be assigned an internal telephone
number via which the dialling is to
be performed. In the case of remote-
controlled dialling, there is no check
on authorisation and LCR is not used.
