2.4 Verifying the Operation of the DECserver 90M Ports
To verify the operation of each port, perform the following steps:
1. Connect a terminal to the port you want to test.
2. Press the Return key two or three times to set the operating speed (autobaud)
of the port.
3. Type a character on the terminal and observe each Port Activity LED for a
reaction. The Port Activity LED should turn on, indicating that the corre-
sponding port is in use. Additional characters should then cause the LED to
blink.
