2-2. Typical Applications
The 24-Port GbE Web Smart Switch provides auto MDIX on its TP ports and
supports fiber types like: LC and BiDi-LC SFP for removable modules on its four
slots. For more details on the specification of the switch, please refer to Appendix A.
The switch is suitable for the following applications.
⎯ Central Site/Remote site application is used in carrier or ISP (See Fig. 2-10)
⎯ Peer-to-peer application is used in two remote offices (See Fig. 2-11)
⎯ Office network(See Fig. 2-12)
