•Before changng the flter or cleanng, turn off the unt and dsconnect ts power supply.
•When removng flter, do not touch metal parts n the unt. The sharp metal edges can
cut you.
•Do not use water to clean the nsde of the ndoor unt. Ths can destroy nsulaton
and cause electrcal shock.
•Do not expose flter to drect sunlght when dryng. Ths can shrnk the flter.
5.3 Air filter reminders (optional)
5.3.1 Air filter cleaning reminder
After 240 hours of use, the dsplay wndow on the ndoor unt wll flash “CL.” Ths s a remnder to clean
your flter. After 15 seconds, the unt wll revert to ts prevous dsplay.
To reset the remnder, press the LED button on your remote control 4 tmes, or press the MANUAL
CONTROL
button 3 tmes. If you don’t reset the remnder, the “CL” ndcator wll flash agan when you
restart the unt.
5.3.2 Air filter replacement reminder
After 2,880 hours of use, the dsplay wndow on the ndoor unt wll flash “nF.” Ths s a remnder to
replace your flter. After 15 seconds, the unt wll revert to ts prevous dsplay.
To reset the remnder, press the LED button on your remote control 4 tmes, or press the MANUAL
CONTROL
button 3 tmes. If you don’t reset the remnder, the “nF” ndcator wll flash agan when you
restart the unt.
