IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Retain This User’s Guide For Future Reference
Whenusingelectricalappliances,basicprecautionsshouldalwaysbefollowed
toreducetheriskofre,electricshock,andinjurytopersons,includingthe
following:
1. Readallinstructionsbeforeusingtheelectricreplace.
2. Theheaterishotwheninuse.Toavoidburns,donotletbareskintouch
hotsurfaces.Thetrimaroundtheheateroutletbecomeshotduringheater
operation.Keepcombustiblematerials,suchasfurniture,pillows,bedding,
papers,clothes,andcurtainsatleast3feet(0.9m)fromthefrontofthe
unit.
3. Extremecautionisnecessarywhenanyheaterisusedbyornearchildren
orinvalidsandwhenevertheunitisleftoperatingandunattended.
4. Alwaysunplugtheelectricreplacewhennotinuse.
5. Donotoperatewithadamagedcordorplug,oriftheheaterhas
malfunctioned,oriftheelectricreplacehasbeendroppedordamaged
inanymanner.Returnreplacetoanauthorizedservicefacilityfor
examination,electricalormechanicaladjustment,orrepair.
6. Donotuseoutdoors.
7. Theelectricreplaceisnotintendedforuseinbathrooms,laundryareas
andsimilarindoorlocations.Neverlocateheaterwhereitmayfallintoa
bathtuborotherwatercontainer.
8. Donotinstallthereplacedirectlyoncarpetorasimilarsurfacewhich
mayrestrictaircirculationbeneaththeunit.
9. Donotrunthecordundercarpeting.Donotcovercordwiththrowrugs,
runners,orthelike.Arrangecordawayfromtrafcareaandwhereitwill
notbetrippedover.
10. Todisconnecttheunit,turnthecontrolsoff,thenremovetheplugfromthe
outlet.
11. Donotinsertorallowforeignobjectstoenteranyventilationorexhaust
openingasthismaycauseanelectricshockorre,ordamagetothe
heater.
12. Topreventapossiblere,donotblockairintakeorexhaustinany
manner.Donotuseonsoftsurfaces,likeabed,whereopeningsmay
becomeblocked.
13. Allelectricalheatershavehotandarcingorsparkingpartsinside.Donot
useinareaswheregasoline,paint,orammableliquidsareusedorstored
orwheretheunitwillbeexposedtoammablevapors.
