7. ELECTRIC SYSTEM
7.1. ELECTRIC COMPONENTS
Device ID’s used in the electric diagam and component functions are described in this
chapter. Spare part numbers of main components are included in a separate spare part list.

K1
StartcontactorofelectricmotorM1(optionalextra)

Contactor of EMERGENCY STOP button.
Switches the power supply on/off according to the position of the EMERGENCY STOP button.

Control relay of the power supply relay.
Switches off the control voltage from the power supply relay after a preset delay or after the key
switch has been turned to position 0.

Power supply relay
Switches off the power supply from all electric appliances except the emergency operations of
the boom.

Senses,iftheAC-feedisconnected.

Start relay for the combustion engine.
Controls the start solenoid of the combustion engine.

Glowing relay
Switches on the current to the glow plugs of the combustion engine.

Operation relay.
Excites the generator and feeds the start signal to the bus.

Levelling the platform forward.

Levelling the platform backward.

Control relay of the RPM linear motor
Extends the stroke of the linear motor.

Control relay of the RPM linear motor.
Shortens the stroke of the linear motor.

Operation relay of the motor
Switches on the control voltage in the start circuit of the engine.

Selector relay of the motor
SwitchesovertherunninginstructiontothecontrolcontactorK1oftheengine,iftheAC-feedis
plugged and the combustion engine has not been started.

Auxiliary relay for the boom system
Switches over the control voltage to the changeover valve 5B in case one the boom
movements is activated. The relay does not draw until the combustion engine revolutions have
increased to the required level.
